1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Beyond Grad Inc. It applies to information we collect when you use our websites, course portals, or other services, content, and materials made available through our platforms (collectively, the “Services”), or when you otherwise interact with us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes occur, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and, when appropriate, notify you by email or within the Services.

2. Collection of Information

a. Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. Examples include when you create an account, enroll in a course, participate in live or recorded sessions, register for free masterclasses, enter contests or scholarship programs, subscribe to newsletters, make a purchase, or contact us for support. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, billing address, phone number, payment information (processed by secure third-party providers), occupation or employer information (if you choose to share it), and any other information you voluntarily provide.

b. Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we may automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, access times, referring URLs, and usage data. This helps us improve functionality, security, and performance.

c. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies or similar technologies to enhance your experience and analyze usage. You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies, though this may affect functionality.

d. Information from Other Sources

We may receive information from third-party services that help operate our business (for example, Kajabi, Zoom, Stripe, Google Analytics, or social-media integrations) and combine it with information we collect directly.

3. Recording Consent and Use

Free Masterclasses and Public Events

Free webinars, masterclasses, or open sessions may be recorded and shared with registered attendees and, in some cases, used in the public domain (for example, on our website, social-media pages, or marketing materials). By registering for or attending these sessions, you consent to being recorded and to the potential public use of the recording.

Course and Program Events

Recordings within paid courses, programs, or coaching sessions are made available only to current and future enrolled students inside the course portal. These recordings are for educational and internal use. Any portion of a recording that includes identifiable participant information will only be used publicly after receiving explicit written consent from the participant (via email or messaging apps such as WhatsApp).

If you do not wish to appear in any recording, you may choose to keep your camera off or refrain from participating during recorded segments.

4. Use of Information

We use information about you to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our programs and Services;
  • Process payments and send transaction confirmations;
  • Communicate with you regarding updates, support, or account notices;
  • Send educational or promotional content relevant to your enrollment (you may opt out anytime);
  • Administer contests, scholarships, or promotions and notify winners;
  • Monitor and analyze usage to improve user experience; and
  • Fulfill any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share information about you:

  • With trusted service providers (e.g., Kajabi for hosting, Stripe or PayPal for payments, Zoom for live sessions, and email or analytics providers);
  • When required by law or legal process;
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Beyond Grad, our users, or others;
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided; or
  • With your consent or at your direction.

6. Advertising and Analytics Services

We may use third-party advertising and analytics services (such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Kajabi Analytics, or similar platforms) to promote our Services and understand how users interact with our website and programs.

These partners may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and conversion information. This data helps us:

  • Measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising;
  • Deliver advertisements and content tailored to your interests; and
  • Better understand how visitors engage with our website and campaigns.

This information may be collected by Beyond Grad and/or third-party vendors and may be shared in aggregate or pseudonymized form. We are based in Canada, and the information we collect is governed by Canadian law. Some personal data may be processed or stored outside Canada (for example, in the United States) where privacy laws may differ. By using our Services, you consent to such transfers.

8. Security and Retention

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

We retain personal data as long as necessary to deliver the Services, fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, and comply with legal obligations.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

  • Access and correct the personal information we hold about you;
